The purpose of this study is to explore and investigate the impacts of organization commitment to employee motivation – a comparison of different types of Vietnamese enterprises such as: State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) Private-owned Enterprises (POEs) and Joint Venture Enterprises (JVEs). For conducting the search, this thesis applied survey with 167 staff who are working in three types of enterprises in Hanoi city. The principle component method was used for explorative factor analysis. The reality and validity of this study were validated. The regressions are used to examine the relationship among variables. The result indicates that there is a positive relationship between organization commitment and employee motivation. Besides, the Continuance Commitment and Normative Commitment factor strongly affect on motivation. However, the Affective Commitment has no significant impact on employee motivation. The ANOVA results address that there is no difference in organization commitment among three types of enterprises. Implication of finding, limitation of research and suggestion for further study are also discussed in this study.
