With entering the global economic with high competitiveness environment, Vietnamese employee have to face with pressure in working as well as in normal life. In order to understand the influence of leisure motivation on job satisfaction, this study investigates the relationships between leisure motivation and job satisfaction for staffs at Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Limited Company (HSDC). A total of 350 questionnaires were sent to employee who are working in Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Company through author and 10 officers. Around 263 questionnaires were collected, however the number of valid responses received only is 212, representing 60.5% of the total number of questionnaires delivered. The result indicates that that job satisfaction of employees in Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Company related to leisure motivation. Result from T-test and ANOVA show that there are no different among characteristic of respondent relate to job satisfaction. Based on the findings, the recommendation for HSDC, limitations of this study and directions for the future research were discussed.
