具交錯式功因修正之單級LED燈驅動電路

A Single-Stage LED Driver with Interleaved Power Factor Correction

摘要


隨著世界各國提倡綠色照明以及節能減碳的趨勢下,發光二極體(LED)具有體積小、壽命長、亮度高、環保等特點,因此成為新一代固態照明的新寵兒。 傳統應用於路燈照明的LED驅動電路為兩級架構,由前級功因修正電路與後級直流-直流轉換器所組成。兩級式的驅動電路架構功率開關與元件數目較多,且電路效率不高。因此,本論文提出了一種新型且具有交錯式功因修正之單級LED燈驅動電路,可適用於路燈照明。主電路架構整合交錯式升壓型轉換器與半橋式LC串聯諧振串接全波整流之轉換器成為單級功率轉換電路。且設計交錯式升壓轉換器的電感操作在不連續導通模式下,可自然達到高功因的效果,以及將半橋式LC串聯諧振槽路設計在電感性負載,可讓兩個功率開關具有零電壓切換(ZVS)的特性,藉此降低功率開關的切換損失以提高電路效率。 本論文已完成一個165W單級LED燈雛型驅動電路的研製與動作模式分析。藉由實測電路的波形得知,在220伏特的交流輸入電壓下,本論文提出具交錯式功因修正之單級LED路燈驅動電路具有高功因(>0.99)、低輸入電流總諧波失真因數(<10%)、低輸出電壓漣波率(<10%)、低輸出電流漣波率(<10%)與高效率(>90%)等特點。

With world-wide big promotions for green lighting and energy saving, light-emitting-diode (LED) has features of small size, long life-time, high luminous and environmental protections. They are going to play important roles as new solid-state lighting sources. The conventional two-stage LED driver for street-lighting applications is consisted of a power-factor-correction (PFC) converter and a DC-DC converter. The conventional two-stage driver has more circuit components, higher cost and limited efficiency. Therefore, this thesis presents a novel single-stage LED driver with interleaved PFC suitable for street-lighting applications, which integrates a interleaved PFC converter with the half-bridge LC series resonant converter cascaded with a full-bridge rectifier. The inductors inside the interleaved PFC converter are designed to operate at discontinuous-conduction-mode (DCM) for achieving high power-factor, and half-bridge LC series resonant tank is designed as a inductive load for achieving zero-voltage switching (ZVS) in order to lower the switching losses of power switches and boost-up the circuit efficiency. A 165W-rated single-stage LED prototype driver has been implemented in the thesis including analysis of its operational modes. From the experimental results at a 220V input utility-line voltage, high power-factor (>0.99), low current THD (<10%), low output voltage ripples (<10%), low output current ripples (<10%), and high circuit efficiency (>90%) are achieved in the proposed single-stage LED driver.
