公立幼稚園家長參與之研究-以台中市為例

摘要


本研究主要在探討台中市公立幼稚園學生家長在參與子女的學習、班級的活動及學校事務上的實際情形與態度,並比較家長參與情形與態度是否因背景變項的不同而有所差異。其研究方法採用分層隨機抽樣的方式,隨機抽取14所國小附幼,每間附幼抽取2班,共28個班級,總計560人。本研工具為自編的「台中市公立幼稚園家長參與調查問卷」,根據所蒐集之資料,做描述統計,並以t考驗、單因子變異數與皮爾森積差相關等統計方式來分析,來瞭解各變項之差異情形。研究主要發現如下: 本研究結果得到下列各項結論: 一、公立幼稚園學生家長實際參與的情形偏重於「參與子女的學習」,對於「參與班級的活動」與「參與學校的事務」則較不踴躍;母親實際參與之情形的程度較父親為高;雙親家庭實際參與之情形的程度較非雙親家庭為高;家長教育程度愈高者實際參與學校教育的參與程度愈高;家長職業為軍公教及家庭管理者實際參與學校教育的參與程度較職業為工者高;而在不同年齡與子女數上,則無顯著差異。 二、公立幼稚園學生家長在參與態度上較偏重於「參與子女的學習」,對於「參與班級的活動」與「參與學校的事務」則較不重視;母親在參與態度上得分較父親高;在「參與子女的學習」的層面,雙親家庭參與態度較非雙親家庭積極;家長教育程度愈高者參與的態度也愈正向;而在不同年齡、職業與子女數上,則無顯著差異。 三、台中市公立幼稚園家長對實際參與的情形與態度達顯著正相關。

This research was to explore how parents involved and what their attitudes were toward children’s learning, class activities and school affairs in public kindergartens of Taichung city. Parents’ backgrounds were investigated with regard to their involvement and attitudes. Stratified random sampling was used. Two classes were drawn from each of 14 public kindergartens. There were 560 parents included in this study. The “parent involvement questionnaire of public kindergartens in Taichung city” was used and the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA and K. Pearson product-moment correlation. The conclusions of this research were stated in the following: 1. The parents in public kindergartens showed more involvement in “children’s learning” rather than “class activities” and “school affairs”. Mothers tended to involve more than fathers. Two-parent families involved more than single parent families, grandparents-breeding families and families taken care by other family members. Parents with higher education level involved more than those with lower education level. Parents that were government employees and housekeepers involved more than those were laborers. Parents’ age and number of children did not have significant effects on how parents involved in children’s learning, class activities and school affairs. 2. The attitudes of parents toward parent involvement in public kindergartens showed more concerns in “children’s learning” rather than “class activities” or “school affairs”. Mothers scored higher than fathers on attitudes toward parent involvement. Two-parent families tended to have more positive attitudes toward parent involvement than single parent families, grandparents-breeding families and families taken care by other family members. Parents with higher education level had more positive attitudes toward parent involvement than those with lower education level. Neither parents’ age and occupation, nor number of children had significant effects on the attitudes of parent involvement. 3. The parents’ attitudes and their involvement were found to be positively related.
