在無線感測網路中,每個感測節點的能源限制將直接影響整個無線感測網路的生存時間,所以如何節省能源消耗是一個重要的議題。由於在實務應用中,感測節點存在環境的差異,需要藉由每個感測節點不同的任務來增加實值效益,因此具不同感測能力之感測節點所形成的異質感測網路將會導致網路的能源負載不平衡及減少節點生存時間(lifetime)。因此本文提出一個在異質無線感測網路下具能源感知之重建叢集機制,將各種影響叢集能源效益的重要因素與感測節點傳送週期因素經分析後,選擇出適合的叢集頭節點及適當的重建叢集門檻值(threshold),藉此減少重建叢集次數來節省更多的能源消耗。
In wireless sensor networks, energy constraints of each node directly affect the lifetime of wireless sensor networks; therefore, how to save energy is an important issue. In practice, due to environmental differences of sensor nodes, different tasks are assigned to each node, and the resulting heterogeneous wireless sensor network (HWSN) is more likely to cause inconsistency in network energy loads, thus, reducing effective lifetime. This study presented a re-clustering algorithm with energy awareness in HWSN. The algorithm consider some key factors that include residual energy, distance and communication cost and then create an appropriate re-clustering threshold for each cluster head to save energy consumption.
