加密技術運用於多媒體串流資料之分析

摘要


VoIP的發展及運用史,已行之餘年。在2003年底,VoIP產品商品化加速的進步,讓消費者多了另一種電信產品的選擇。在於此,我們發現使用VoIP在網際網路上傳送語音封包時,皆無加密的機制來保障消費者的通信隱私。 在2004年三月,Secure RTP (SRTP) 正式成為IETF標準。它主要是針對VoIP上之語音封包加密所來制定的。就一般而言,VoIP傳送語音封包主要是使用RTP協定。而SRTP是運用在保護RTP傳送語音封包時不被網路駭客給竊取的一項新設計。 本論文主要探討SRTP在VoIP上的運用是否符合效益,並同時與IPsec來相互比較彼此間的效能差異,不管是在處理能力或傳送資料的總處理能力上,我們將會一一的探討。而實驗的結果顯示出SRTP的整體效能的確是可以運用在串流加密上的一項新技術。

The development and usage of VoIP has been active for many years. In the end of 2003 year, consumers had another choice in telecom products because VoIP products are fast commercialized. However, there is no encryption to ensure consumers’ communication privacy when VoIP transmits voice packet in Internet. In March 2004, Secure RTP (SRTP), which is focused on VoIP, was standardized within the IETF. RTP is the main protocol for the voice transmission of VoIP and SRTP is designed for RTP security to avoid hacker cracking. This thesis discusses that if SRTP can meet efficiency requirement upon VoIP usage and compare IPsec performance in the processing speed and transmission. The simulation result shows that the whole performance of SRTP is suitable for the streaming encryption.
