摘要

今日的網路到處充斥著路由器(router)、交換器(switch)以及伺服器

(server)，要管理網路上的所有設備，確定他們不只正常運作且擁有最佳的效

率，似乎是件麻煩的事。但這正是簡易網路管理協定(Simple Network Management

Protocol，簡稱SNMP)可以著力的地方。為了有效管理IP(Internet Protocol)

裝置，管理人員日益需要一套可供遵循的標準，1988年SNMP於焉問世。SNMP提供

了一套簡易操作程序，管理人員可藉以在遠端管理網路裝置。

科技產品日新月異，各式各樣的網路產品如雨後春筍般冒出,因為SNMP為網

管的基礎，所以各廠商如何測試自己的產品SNMP的行為是否正常成為一個重要

的課題並且也可以順便探知道自己產品的穩定性，而SNMP如果利用人工手動測

試非常耗時，因為大量的OID點使用人工測試太費時且易出錯，而測試RMON所

使用的Smartbit機器太昂貴易造成成本大增，而一般的SNMP的測試軟體也只能

對Public MIB作測試，無法應付各別設備上所獨特擁有的Private MIB測試，所

以本論文將針對如何減少SNMP、RMON的測試成本和如何建置更有效率去測試的

環境為重點。

All of us know , ' test ' is really trying smelting the field of
products; Even to the huge energies of bet of a software
development project, if it is not up to standard or futile to test,
because what the customer wants is ' the acceptable product ', but
not ' the diligent course ' of you. So needn't go into details in

resentment always, because it seem to be one trouble on ' it's easy
to know but difficult to practise work.
