本論文針對塑膠製品中凸轂(BOSS)設計時,依其功能、尺寸、強度等方面分別指出其設計時的重點。功能上:分別提出在於設計時、其定位、內部結構鎖附功能、支撐功能、鎖附兼定位功能、外觀面上的鎖附功能、限制功能、接觸功能上,各自分別提出設計上,常用的種類以及設計重點。尺寸上:列出目前設計時,因鎖附螺絲、埋入或INSERT等形情,給予設計的尺寸建議。強度上:特別指出,凸轂高度大於直徑的二倍以上時,一定要增加肋來考量其強度等設計問題。 本研究運用自已設計的凸穀強度綜合測試機,針對依凸穀設計準則規劃出的測試片,分別做了軸向容許拉力測試、側向容許拉力測試及最大鎖附扭力測試。 實驗結果驗証:業界所採用的凸穀設計準則,可以廣泛使用在3C產品塑膠件中的凸穀設計,本研究中並且提供了實驗數據供機構設計者參考,若能妥善應用應可進一步使產品能達到最佳的結構設計。
This study discusses the BOSS designing tips of the plastic products from the three aspects—the function, the dimension and the strength. Related to function, the author points out the often-used types and designing tips about the orientation, the inner-structure locking, the support, the locking and orientation, the outlook locking, the restriction and the contact. Relating the dimension, this research lists out the dimension suggestions of various designing situation--attaching the screws, installing or inserting. Relating the strength, the author points out when the height of BOSS is two times greater than its diameter, the rib must be added to suit the strength. Meanwhile, this research runs the following experiments to the test panel made according to the BOSS designing standard—allowed axial tensile force, side tensile force, and maximum attaching torque force with the BOSS strength integrated testing machine designed by the author. The result of the experiments verifies: the BOSS designing standard adopted by the business can be applied broadly on the BOSS design of the plastic items on 3C products. This research also provides the data of the experiments for the mechanical designers to consult. If a mechanical designer well applies it, the products can achieve the best structure design.
