台灣溫泉水泉質與溫泉水中退伍軍人菌之檢測

摘要


台灣是少數富含多種泉質溫泉水的地方,其溫泉的密度可位居世界之冠。近年來隨著國人生活水準的提升與對休閒渡假的重視,國內溫泉旅遊市場大幅成長。然而對於溫泉水,除了特別相關的泉質鑑定檢測外,對於國內一直忽略的退伍軍人桿菌的檢測在此特別做檢測的方法研究。因為此菌普遍存在於大自然中,特別是在溫熱的水體之中,且對我們的生命安危有極大的威脅。所以針對退伍軍人桿菌,比較一系列的檢測方法。其中,主要利用離心濃縮方法進行細菌培養,並且配製BCYE/GVPC洋菜培養基特殊營養需求之洋菜平板培養基,供退伍軍人桿菌菌株生長,另外可利用生化鑑別的方式來鑑別菌株,在此研究中特別取用烏來露天溫泉做測試。希望未來可以儘早看見法規的制定,以保障喜愛泡湯養生者的安全。

There is a lot of hot springs in Taiwan. The varieties and qualities of these hot springs should be monitored carefully to avoid the problems of public hygiene. In those days, the demand of recreation market keeps growing. The number in hot spring resorts also increase dramatically. How to monitor the qualities of those hot springs becomes an important issue. Among the water quality tests, the assay of Legionella has been ignored in the past. Legionella, a pathogen existing widely in water, prefers to grow in hot spring. To develop a method to identity Legionella in hot spring, this work compared a series of assay methods. Among them, the method utilizing concentration method to culture the bacteria was the result. We collected Wu-Lai hot spring as the source of water. BCYE/GPVC agar with supplement was used as the culture medium, which was specific for the growth of Legionella. The bacteria grown were further characterized with biochemical methods. The method developed in this study is expected to become a standard for the test of Legionella in hot spring, and will be enforced in the law regarding the control of water quality.
