運用內容聯合概念於資訊搜尋結果之呈現

摘要


目前多數搜尋系統對搜尋結果之呈現,僅呈現網址之連結與簡短地文字敘述,使用者必須透過少許的線索就判斷出此結果是否為自己所需之資訊,實有些困難。因此,本研究將依循內容聯合(Content Syndication)之概念,引進於原有的e-Detective系統中面向分析法之搜尋技術,將主題相符之文件一並帶出;並與圖像視覺化技術相結合,呈現出不同於文字敘述般之單一結果,讓使用者可輕易找出所需之文件,以及提供更豐富之資訊。於過去圖形理論之基礎下,我們亦可將面向之概念加入其中,便可於平面中繪製出屬於本研究之圖形模式,運用視覺化圖形之顯示,我們將可看出文件間之關聯性與每一文件所蘊含之概念集。並且針對各面向之分類,系統將建構數種不同類型之知識庫,其目的在於顯示結果文件時,若文件內有不同面向之關鍵詞,系統將可連結知識庫並即時顯示該詞彙之資訊。最後,系統亦可與應用軟體相結合,提升(專用)搜尋引擎的資訊服務價值,改善檢索系統於搜尋結果呈現之不足。此外,同樣的作法可擴展於不同主題之應用,如醫療保健、旅遊觀光、學術教學等,提供資訊內容之附加價值。

Presentation of search results is gaining its importance because search engines used to response to a query with a large quantity of unorganized Web pages. Users are forced to analyze the search results with extra efforts. In this research we follow the concept of content syndication and apply the searching technology of facet-analysis method developed in the e-Detective system to represent the search result. Integrating with visualization technology, the presentation will differ from that of the single result of text-form statement. It allows the user to dig out easily the required documents and could provide much richer information. Basing on the former graph theory, we could add the facet concept to it; this will enable us to draw a graph model of this research on a plane surface. Making use of the visualization graph display, we could realize the connections among the documents and the concept set contained in each document. Besides, the same approach could be expanded to the applications of different subjects such as med-care, travel/tourism, academic teaching etc. to provide an added value of the information contents.
