水熱法合成之NaTaO3 光觸媒以應用於水裂解反應產氫

NaTaO3 Photocatalyst Prepared by Hydrothermal Method for Water-Splitting Reaction to Produce Hydrogen

摘要


本研究是以水熱法(hydrothermal Method)製備光觸媒NiO/NaTaO3 在 紫外光下水裂解反應產氫。藉由混合Ta2O5 和過量的NaOH 和水作為製 備光觸媒之前驅物,並且負載共觸媒NiO 以增加光觸媒活性。在光觸媒 性質分別以X-ray 繞射儀 (XRD)、Uv-Vis 光譜儀、掃描式電子顯微 (SEM)、比表面積分析儀(BET) 、能量散佈光譜儀 (EDS)、X 射線光電 子光譜學(XPS)進行性質分析。以XRD 圖結果得知NaOH 的濃度和製備 溫度皆會影響光觸媒結構。由SEM 圖結果得知光觸媒顆粒為平滑的立 方體, 且NaOH 的濃度和製備溫度皆會影響光觸媒顆粒的形狀和大小。 由SEM 結果得知NaTaO3 的band gap 約為3.90eV。 由EDS 和XPS 鑑 定結果得知光觸媒成分為Na、Ta 和O,並且證明NiO 鍵結於NaTaO3 光觸媒粉末中。由實驗結果得知當NaOH 濃度為14M、製備光觸媒時間 24hr 和製備光觸媒溫度240oc 時具有最高活性。最佳水裂解產氫條件以 0.25wt% NiO /NaTaO3 於甲醇水溶液中,最佳產氫量為平均每小時 37.44mmol

This research is to prepare the photocatalyst NiO/NaTaO3 by means of the hydrothermal method for water splittlng reaction to produce hydrogen under UV light irradiation. By mixing Ta2O5 with excess NaOH and water as precursors for preparing the photocatalyst, the co-catalyst NiO is loaded to increase the photoatalytic activity. The photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, Uv-Vis, SEM, BET, EDS and XPS. From the results of XRD, it is known that both the NaOH concentration and the preparation temperature can affect the structure of the photocatalysts. From the results of SEM, it is known that the photocatalytic grains are smooth cubes, and that both the NaOH concentration and the preparation temperature can affect the shape and size of the photocatalytic grains. From the results of Uv-Vis , it is known that the band gap of NaTaO3 is 3.90eV. From results of EDS and XPS, it is known that the composition of photocatalyts are Na, Ta and O, and this also proves that NiO is bonding to the photocatalytic powders. In addition, from the experimental results, it was found that NaOH concentration is 14M, and by an experiment of running time of 24 hours at 240oC, the highest activity was obtained. The optimal condition for water splitting reaction to produce iii hydrogen is 0.25wt%NiO/NaTaO3 in methanol aqueous solution and the optimal hydrogen production rate is 37.44 mmol per hour
