摘要


TFT-LCD廠的有機廢水,由於含有二甲基亞碸 (DMSO) 以及濃度較高的氮化合物,利用傳統活性污泥處理法往往在放流水含有太高的氨氮,而且處理過程中有二甲基硫的臭味。 本研究將EMMC (entrapped-mixed- microbial cell) 細胞固定化顆粒放入活性污泥SBR反應器中,觀察固定化顆粒對於廢水處理過程的改善。 實驗一:結合EMMC固定化細胞法和傳統活性汙泥法用SBR反應器處理有機廢水。處理量每天30公升 ,水力滯留時間 (HRT) 為48小時。結果,COD及總氮去除率分別為88.3%及84%,優於傳統活性汙泥法的85.2%及73.4%。結果,放流水NOx−N (硝酸氮和亞硝酸氮) 濃度為0.56 ppm,優於傳統活性汙泥法的2.96 ppm。 實驗二:傳統活性污泥法用SBR反應器結合EMMC固定化細胞法處理中華映管廠的廢水。HRT為24小時,處理量每天100公升。每天添加75毫升甲醇可以幫助生物質 (biomass) 的形成,改善放流水的氨氮,由20 ppm降至10 ppm以下,不但解決放流水高氨氮問題,而且可以完全去除DMSO及磷酸。處理過程幾乎沒有臭味。COD以及總氮的去除率分別超過90%以及80%。

The organic wastewater from TFT-LCD industry contained dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and high concentration of nitrogen compounds. After treated by the activated sludge process, the effluent contained high concentration of NH3-N. Furthermore, during the treatment it stank due to the formation of dimethyl sulfide from DMSO. This work was engaged in an advanced treatment of this wastewater in a SBR by a combination of entrapped-mixed-microbial-cell (EMMC) technology and activated sludge (AS) process. The experiment fell into two parts. Part I, 30 liters of wastewater was treated daily with 48 hrs of HRT. The COD and nitrogen removal efficiency achieved 88.3% and 84%, respectively, which is better than that by AS process alone, being 85.2% and 73.4%, respectively. In addition, the effluent contained 0.56 ppm NOx−N in the combination process of EMMC and AS, which is better than 2.96 ppm NOx−N by AS process. Part II, 100 liters wastewater was treated daily with 24 hrs of HRT with 75 mL/d of methanol being fed to the wastewater. When compared with the AS process alone, the removal of N was improved, NH3-N in the effluent decreasing from 20 ppm to 10 ppm. By adding methanol, the formation of biomass was enhanced, and the phosphoric acid and DMSO were removed completely. Furthermore, the COD and nitrogen removal efficiencies of over 90% and 80%, respectively, were achieved.
