行人行動導引裝置之介面設計研究-以視障者為例

摘要


本研究之目的為結合智慧型手機技術以及通用設計之原則提出適合視障者行動導引裝置介面概念設計,期能有效地提高視障者在活動、交通、生活上的效率及便利性。研究分三階段進行:(1)蒐集相關的文獻及議題,整理出可應用於視障者行動導引裝置操作介面之設計規範;(2)透過訪談及調查,找尋問題點及視障者之功能需求;(3)依據前階段之介面設計規範及功能需求,設計出適合視障者行動導引裝置的概念設計。最後以不同視覺障礙類別與性別之使用者,進行任務測試。測試結果以T檢定評估其時間績效與學習性,並以及工作負荷NASA-TLX與SUS主觀感受評量結果,評估受測者之主觀滿意度。 視障者認為結合語音、震動雙重提示之介面,對他們有很大的幫助,因給予很高的評價;也對未來願意使用類似之行動導引裝置介面,給予極高之接受度。不同視覺障礙類別及性別在操作時間上,呈現明顯差異。在學習性上,使用者透過語音或震動輔助來操作行動導引裝置介面,可獲致良好之學習成效。在性別上,由於女性受測者在操作前會仔細聽操作說明,所以在首次操作介面時,操作時間明顯比男性快,另一方面,男性因向來對3C產品較感興趣,在熟悉介面後測試第二次相同任務時,操作時間有明顯進步,顯示使用者性別會影響學習成效。 在工作負荷NASA-TLX之六項評量上,受測者之整體工作負荷評量並未因視覺障礙類別及性別而呈現顯著差異。 在SUS主觀感受量表上,不同視覺障礙類別及性別之整體主觀感受表呈現明顯差異。介面學習所需時間及操作介面時需要有人指引,在不同視覺障礙類別上呈現顯著差異。介面的操作性及介面的滿意度,在性別上亦呈現顯著差異。

Propose conceptual design of mobility guide device interface suitable to visual disturbance people combining Smart Phone technology with universal design principle, and effectively increase efficiency and convenience of visual disturbance people in aspects of mobility, traffic and life. This study is conducted in three phases: (1) Collect relevant literatures and discussion topics, clarify design regulations concerning operation interface of mobility guiding devices for visual disturbance people; (2) Seek for problems and functional demands of visual disturbance people through interview and prior survey on field; (3) Design conceptual design suitable to mobility guiding device for visual disturbance people on the basis of design regulations organized from literatures and survey results in prior phase, and then conduct experimental validation. Finally, a task test evaluation is made to users under different categories of visual obstacles and genders for evaluating their time performance, learning and subjective satisfaction, so as to confirm usability of this device. Statistical analysis is made on experimental results by using T-test and System Usability Scale(SUS) and NSAS Task Load Index(NSAS-TLX). Findings include: This device is of great help to interface combining voice with vibration double hints as well as operation interface of visual disturbance people. The willingness of using similar mobility guide device in future is given high evaluation. According to further analysis, there is significant difference on time performance between category of visual disturbance and gender. As for learning, when users operate mobility guide device with the help of voice or vibration auxiliary device, they show good learning achievements; As for gender, female respondents clearly listen to operation instruction prior to operation, so when firstly operate interface, they take less time than males. However, males are more interested in 3C products, after being familiar with interface, when test the same task again, their operation time progresses obviously, which shows that learning achievement may be affected by user gender. For NSAS -TLX assessment in working load, there is no significant difference on overall assessment of working load for category of visual disturbance and gender of respondents. For System Usability Scale feeling scale, if seen from category of visual disturbance, there is significant difference on interface learning time and that in need of instructing interface with help of others. If seen from gender, a significant difference occurs on interface operability and interface satisfaction.
