WiMAX 系統中不同佇列的 VoIP 效能評估

摘要


無線網路的服務中,如何滿足眾多使用者的要求,是我們所追求的。本篇論文以更貼近實際網路運作的狀況為目標, 在NS2平台上模擬接近實際PMP的WiMAX網路。並且去探討在有多個使用者共享頻寬的條件下,對於特定的網路應用服務,哪一種佇列才能達到系統最大容量 (capacity) 的使用率。 模擬所使用的參數設定如下,傳遞延遲時間參數為1 ms、鍊路具有的頻寬為1Mbps、調變為OFDM_QPSK_3_4,Routing protocol為DSDV,其他沒有定義的參數都使用預設值,預設值都存放在ns-default.tcl.檔案裡。評估通話品質的標準設delay為150 ms、loss rate為3%。我們探討不同的 background 對於 VoIP 使用者的人數影響,本篇論文的模擬結果 FTP background 比CBR background 多了3位使用者的服務,而靜止的條件與移動的條件也會造成最大服務人數的差異,更在不同的 G729 以及 G711 的 Codec 上知道 VoIP 使用者的人數是差到將近 2.5 倍之多。 而在佇列的比較中, 靜止條件下,background 是 CBR時, DRR 表現最好,而當 background 換成 FTP 後,則為 FQ 表現最佳。當 background 為 FTP 時,在移動的條件下 RED的表現最好。轉換到 G729 Codec,移動的條件,不管是 Delay、Loss Rate、MOS 都是 FQ 佇列表現的最優異。

In the services of wireless network, we seek the best capacity. In this paper, based on the goal of making the simulation corresponding with the actual network operation situation, this research executes the simulation on the platform of NS2 to simulate WiMAX network which is very close to the actual PMP and discuss how to achieve the usage rate of the maximum system capacity for specific web application service on the condition of multiple users sharing the bandwidth. Parameters in this simulation are as follows: 1ms transmission delay time, 1Mbps bandwidth, OFDM_QPSK_3_4 modulation and DSDV Routing protocol, other parameters that are not defined are used with default values which are put in the ns-default.tcl file. The standard of assessing the communication quality sets the delay time as 150ms and the loss rate as 3%. Different background types would impact the best capacity. Per our simulation results, the capacity of FTP background is more 3 than the one of CBR background. And the capacities would be also different between immovable and movable conditions. Finally, the best capacity of G729 would be much more than G711. If VoIP users are immovable, DRR is the best queue for CBR background and FQ is the best one for FTP background. If VoIP users are movable, RED is the best queue for FTP background. Under G729 codes, FQ is the best queue no matter Delay, Loss Rate, and MOS.
