具有悠久歷史號碼鎖,因為有不需要使用鑰匙的便利性,所以在鎖類市場上一直佔有一席之地,然而也有一些使用上的缺點,尤其是在夜間或缺乏光線以及視力不佳的情況下,由於無法看到數字輪上面的數字,所以市面上針對此缺點開發了一些可在夜間使用的號碼鎖,但尚未徹底解決問題,因此本研究的目的在於研究與設計於低視力狀況時可使用的號碼鎖。 經由現況調查,可在夜間使用的號碼鎖歸納成四類:逆轉歸零鎖、凸塊鎖、螢光鎖和 LED 鎖;接著請 20 位有使用經驗者在有光線和無光線時來開啟這四把鎖的測試,測試結果以Friedman 檢定及雙因子區集變異數分析來檢驗開鎖的時間,結果顯示雖然在無光線下可以靠觸覺完成開鎖,但比較在有光線時之開鎖效率還是有顯著的差異,螢光鎖與凸塊鎖相對於逆轉歸零鎖與 LED 鎖而言,有顯著的較短開鎖時間。 第二階段是以數字符號的觸讀實驗為主,先由各組符號中篩選出六組適合觸讀的數字符號 (其中包含本研究新設計的珠算式符號),並製作成測試樣本,再由30位受測者對此六組樣本進行觸讀測試,並將測試結果 (觸讀時間與觸讀正確率) 與問卷結果 (舒適性與易觸讀性),以Friedman 檢定及雙因子區集變異數分析來檢驗,結果顯示珠算式符號與點字符號有顯著較佳的成效,再加上目前一般使用的阿拉伯數字,取出這三組數字符號,製作成三組觸摸式號碼鎖的測試樣本,再由30位受測者對此三組樣本進行觸摸式開鎖測試,並將測試結果 (開鎖時間) 與問卷結果 (舒適性與易觸讀性),以Friedman 檢定及雙因子區集變異數分析來檢驗,顯示珠算式符號有顯著較佳的成效。 由本研究基於珠算的概念所設計出的觸摸式號碼鎖在開鎖時間;舒適性與易觸讀性機有顯著的良好成效,此種設計概念可作為相關業者設計的參考,期望能為號碼鎖注入新生命。
With a long period of history, combination locks have remained an important place in the market for the convenience of the use without key. However, there still have some shortcomings, especially being used under the circumstances at night or insufficient light and the situation of poor eyesight. As the numbers on the dials are unable to be read at the above situation, some new combination locks are developed to be used at night, but the problems can not be solved thoroughly still. The research will be aimed at the study and design of the combination locks which can be used at the condition of poor sight. According to the market investigation nowadays, combination locks able to be used at night can be divided into four categories: Reversal to zero Lock, Warded lock, LED lock and Fluorescent lock. 20 users with experience are required to do the test to open these 4 locks with and without light respectively and check the time to open the lock by Friedman Test and Two-way ANOVA. The result reveals that the locks can be open by the sense of touch even if there is no light, but it is more efficient to open the lock by the light. In the meanwhile, Fluorescent lock takes less time to open than Warded lock and Reversal to zero Lock. In the second phase, the test will focus on the touch reading of numeric symbols. Sieve out six sets of numeric symbols suitable for touch reading (including the Abacus Symbol designed in this research) and make the test samples first. Then, require 30 subjects to proceed to these tests and examine the test result (the time and accurate rate of touch reading) and questionnaire result (the level of comfort and easy touch reading) by Friedman Test and Two-way ANOVA. The result shows that Abacus symbols and Braille symbols are significantly better to be used on opening locks. After that, include Arabic numerals used generally and choose 3 groups of these numeric symbols to be test samples of touch combination locks for further tests on opening locks by 30 subjects. Check the test result (the time for opening locks) and the questionnaire result (the level of comfort and easy touch reading) by Friedman Test and Two-way ANOVA. The result reveals that Abacus Symbol is easy to be used correctly. Touch-based combination lock designed per abacus concept in this study can be remarkably worked well while opening due to its level of comfort and easy touch reading. It can be referred by the related businesses on new design and concept and expect for the better milestone in combination locks afterwards.
