The present thesis sets out to discuss for Beethoven violin sonata no. 4.The sonata, born in the period of transformation of Beethoven’s composition, has its role of both carrying on the past heritage and opening up the future. By investigating the early creative techniques and style of Beethoven’s composition, this thesis articulates on the song analysis, and on the harmony, dynamics, and structure parts. Generally speaking, readers and performers should feel the somber emotion and thoughts when he faced the pain of his vigorous ears. Specifically, the present thesis analyses for the harmony , music forms, structure , phrases, and sections of the three movements. In the Section of Performance Interpretation , this thesis focuses on the relationship between Beethoven’s personality and the creative techniques and styles.
