摘要 路德維希.范.貝多芬(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827)是西洋音樂史上銜接古典樂派和浪漫樂派的重要音樂家,他和莫札特一樣,也是一位鋼琴家,但又不同於莫札特和海頓的是—貝多芬對其鋼琴獨奏曲給予特別的強調,他的鋼琴奏鳴曲也一躍成為與其它作品同等重要的音樂體裁,他首先在這一領域對音樂的結構組織、風格、技巧與美學傾向上進行新的探索,此後才將這些新方法應用於其它作品當中。鋼琴奏鳴曲的創作幾乎貫穿貝多芬的一生。 貝多芬一生中創作出無數的重要作品,包含管弦樂、交響樂、室內樂和鋼琴獨奏曲。在鋼琴獨奏曲中,最重要的作品為三十二首鋼琴奏鳴曲,給後續的作曲家和音樂風格有著深遠的影響。每首貝多芬奏鳴曲都是獨一無二的,它們在整體性和細節上都擁有鮮明的音樂特質以及內在張力。本論文以研究貝多芬《E大調鋼琴奏鳴曲,作品十四之一》(Piano Sonata in E Major, Op. 14 No. 1)為主軸,共分成四個章節探討。第一章為緒論,由研究動機、研究目的、研究範圍和方法組成。第二章為貝多芬之生平與音樂風格,探索貝多芬的生平、創作構思與風格。第三章為樂曲分析與詮釋,完整分析貝多芬《E大調鋼琴奏鳴曲,作品十四之一》(Piano Sonata in E Major, Op. 14 No. 1)的創作素材與技法,挖掘樂曲的獨創性,進而提出個人的演奏詮釋與見解。第四章為結論,綜述前三章的研究,統整並提出心得。

Abstract Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) is an important musician, who has taken the part on history of western music from the Classicism to Romanticism. Like Mozart, Beethoven was a pianist. But unlike Mozart –and Haydn, too, for that matter–Beethoven emphasized music for solo piano, the sonata in particular, which became in his work as important as any other genre of composition. Here he for the first time worked out new methods of organization, styles, techniques, and even aesthetic orientations, before extending theme to other categories of composition. Beethoven wrote piano sonatas more or less continually throughout his composing career. Beethoven had composed a wealth of masterpieces in his whole life, including orchestras, symphonies, chamber music and piano pieces. Furthermore, his most well known works and are the piano sonatas that he wrote between 1782 to 1822, which have been highly influencing the music styles and the later composers. Each sonata has unique, but also contrasting, qualities and tensions, both in the overall sense and in specific details. This study is focused on “Piano Sonata in E Major, Op. 14, No. 1” of Beethoven, and there are four chapters. The first chapter is introduction, combined with motivation, purpose, scope and methods. The second chapter would discuss about the life music style of Beethoven. The third chapter is analysis and interpretation of “Piano Sonata in E Major, Op.14 No.1” by Beethoven, also debating on the sources and the skills, further adducing the interpretation and opinions by the author. The last chapter is conclusion, summarizing the previous chapters and making the commentary of whole thesis.
