表面處理對添加玻璃之氧化鋯衰變的影響

摘要


釔安定氧化鋯(Y-TZP)因具有良好的機械性質及生物相容性,因此被應用於牙科補綴物。將A-A玻璃 (MgO-CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-P2O5)添加於Y-TZP中,利用液相燒結,可以在較低的燒結溫度時達到適當的機械性質。本研究探討其衰變的影響及評估生物相容性,表面處理也一併加以討論。 本研究以0%玻璃的Y-TZP為對照組,將Y-TZP添加1、3、5、10 wt% A-A玻璃後於1300℃燒結,經過表面處理後,進行低溫時效劣化測試,評估方法包括:相變量、機械性質、表面形態、離子釋出等,生物相容性評估方面,使用L929纖維母細胞評估此材料是否具有細胞毒性外,也使用了MG-63類骨母細胞來評估此材料的骨整合情形,探討應用於骨科植體的可能性。 實驗結果顯示,添加玻璃量越多之Y-TZP,在低溫時效劣化時,其相變化越多,Y-TZP添加到10%玻璃並經過7天浸泡後相變量高達35%,相較於純Y-TZP(1%)高出許多,但經過研磨處理後,添加10%玻璃之Y-TZP浸泡7天時的相變量有明顯降低(21%)而純Y-TZP的相變量則明顯提高(8%)。噴砂處理後,添加10%玻璃之Y-TZP浸泡7天時的相變量(21%)更是低於Y-TZP(44%),可見添加A-A玻璃並經過表面處理後,可明顯降低Y-TZP相變化;在生物相容性的實驗結果也顯示,添加於Y-TZP中的A-A玻璃無細胞毒性外,其中鈣及矽的成分也可提高骨整合的速率。

Yttria-Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal (Y-TZP) is a preference material in dentistry owing to its good mechanical properties and excellent biocompatibility. The A-A (MgO - CaO - Al2O3 - SiO2 - P2O5) glass powder has been introduced as additive of Y-TZP to lower the sintering temperature via liquid-phase sintering. The influence of glass additive on sintering and mechanical properties has been studied. The aim of this study is to evaluate the degradation and biocompatibility of zirconia through using glass as additive. The effects of surface treatments will be studied as well. Y-TZP specimens with 0, 1, 3, 5, and 10 wt% A-A glass frits were sintered at 1300℃. The evaluation of low temperature degradation of zirconia has been assessed by determining the decreasing of mechanical strength, roughening of the surface, changing of the phase, and releasing of the ions. Biocompatibility was evaluated by using L929 fibroblast cell for cytotoxicity and MG-63 osteoblastic cell for osteointegration, respectively. The results revealed that phase transformation increased with the quantities of adding glass frits. After 7 days immersing, Y-TZP with 10% glass frits would have 35% phase transformation, while Y-TZP without glass frits only has 1%. With grinding treatment, the transformation of Y-TZP with 10% glass frits significantly decreased (35% → 21%), in contrast to Y-TZP without glass frits increased (1% → 8%). With sandblast treatment, Y-TZP without glass frits would have the highest transformation (44%). These results display that surface treatments on Y-TZP using A-A glass as additive would decrease the amount of transformation. Biocompatibility results also indicate that A-A glass powder has no cytotoxicity. The Ca and Si elements in A-A glass promote the osteointegration.
