中國銀行產業在共同邊界下麥氏生產力缺口指數之評量

摘要


本文利用共同邊界下麥氏生產力缺口指數對中國銀行業三種所有權類型共49家銀行2013-2017年245個觀察樣本進行生產面和成本面的分析。實證結果表明,就生產面而言,全期間生產效率最佳為大型商業銀行,股份制商業銀行次之,效率最差為城市商業銀行,生產力缺口指數也呈現相同情況,全期間整體銀行群組生產力惡化。就成本面而言,大型商業銀行的共同邊界成本效率最高,而城市商業銀行的共同邊界成本效率最低,而且大型商業銀行的共同邊界成本效率值在評估期間一直在不斷優化。同時,大型商業銀行的成本缺口值最優,而股份制商業銀行的成本缺口為三類銀行最低;共同邊界成本效率排名最優銀行前三名分別為工商銀行、建設銀行和興業銀行。全期間整體銀行群組成本面生產力惡化,整體銀行呈現背離現象是由於城市商業銀行呈現技術背離速度大於股份制商業銀行收斂速度所導致,從個別類型群組來看,全期間大型商業銀行和股份制商業銀行的成本面生產力呈改善現象,而城市商業銀行則呈惡化現象。

This paper applies the Meta-Frontier Malmquist productivity gap index method to analyze the performance on productivity and cost of three types of ownership of the Chinese banking industry,which totally up to 245 observation samples including 49 banks from 2013 to 2017.The empirical results show that, in terms of productivity, the large commercial banks has the highest Meta-Frontier CE index value, while the City Commercial Bank is the least efficient, and the large commercial bank's Meta-Frontier CE value has been continuously optimized during the evaluation period. At the same time, the TG value of large commercial banks is the best, while the TG of joint-stock commercial banks comes to the lowest among the three types of banks; the top three banks ranked by Meta-Frontier CE value are ICBC, CCB and ABC.During the whole period, the overall bank group's cost productivity is deteriorated,moreover,the overall bank's divergence effect is caused by the fact that the city commercial bank showed a technical deviation faster than the joint-stock commercial bank's convergence speed. From the perspective of individual types of groups, the cost-effectiveness of large commercial banks and joint-stock commercial banks has improved throughout the period, while the urban commercial banks deteriorated.
