本研究之目的在探討高階主管人就讀EMBA之價值內涵,以嶺東科技大學之企管研究所碩士在職專班(EMBA)研究生作為研究對象,利用半結構訪談對 31 位EMBA學員進行一對一階梯式深度訪談,應用方法目的鏈理論模型以紮根理論歸納出就讀EMBA之屬性、結果與價值。研究結果顯示,終身學習與課程執行為多數受訪者考慮的要素屬性;主要就讀結果為獲取新知與身心靈成長;而與他人溫暖關係和自尊是主要價值目標。在屬性、結果跟價值之間的關聯性上,以終身學習對身心靈成長收穫最大占 81.7%,而人際效益、身心靈成長、自我能力為主要產生價值的學習成果,又以人際效益能帶來與他人溫暖關係之價值,占 90.3%。不同身分之EMBA學員其主要核心價值皆是與他人溫暖關係。藉由該研究提供欲就讀EMBA之人才做為選擇學校的考量依據,並讓辦理EMBA之各學校了解高階主管人對於EMBA的學習需求,以制訂辦學方向。
This study aimed to explore the value of attending Executive Master of Business Administration program, research subjects by Ling Tung University students of EMBA, the 31 students of EMBA using a semi-structured interview by a one-to-one in depth laddering interviews, apply means-end chain theory through grounded theory summarized attributes, consequences and value of EMBA studying. The results show that “Lifelong Learning” and “Course Executive” are most of the elements to consider for the attributes; major studying consequences is obtain “knowledge” and “physical and spiritual growth”; “Warm relationships with others”, and “self- respect” are the main value goal. The correlation among attributes, consequences and value by biggest gains is “Lifelong Learning” to “physical and spiritual growth” accounted for 81.7%. Howere “benefits of interpersonal”, “physical and spiritual growth”, “self-ability” create value for the main learning outcomes, that “benefits of interpersonal” bring the value of “Warm relationships with others” ,accounting for 90.3%. EMBA students of different identity its main core value is a “warm relationship with others”. The study provide the personnel as choosing a school’s considerations based, and let the university meet the learning needs of executives to develop EMBA education direction of university.
