點對點技術在生物資訊資源分享之研究

摘要


生物資訊研究資源愈來愈多,如何快速有效的整合這些資源,讓資訊的運用能夠更有效率,就成為一個有趣且充滿挑戰的課題。愈來愈多人採用Web Service來進行資源分享,但隨著網路安全的受到重視,防火牆、NAT 讓許多設備無法暢行無阻的在網路上使用,面對各種複雜的網路環境,Web Service 已不足以適用在各種網路環境上。本論文提出了一個與傳統透過網站來分享資源不同的系統架構,在這個系統架構下建立資源分享的平台,這個架構包含三個單元,分別是Web 服務建立(Web Service Creation)、服務發佈(Service Advertisement),以及服務叫用(Service Consuming)。服務發佈以及服務叫用的單元,是以JXTA 點對點(Peer-to-Peer)技術,來解決一些Web Service 在複雜網路下無法連線的問題。我們建立了一個名為Bioinformatics 的JXTA 群組,並在這個群組上建立三個已發表的識別癌症相關基因方法: 使用轉錄因子結合區辨識癌症相關基因、使用單一核甘酸多型性辨識癌症相關基因,以及微陣列基因表現資料庫可靠度驗證的服務可供查詢,希望發揮拋磚引玉的效果,讓相關領域的生物資訊學者可以直接使用,或繼續以這個模式在相同的群組內發佈自己的研究心得及資源。

There are more and more Bioinformatics research resources on the Internet. How to integrate these resources effeciently became a challenging issue. More and more people use Web Services to share their resources. But, the Web Services is no longer an ideal method to use on the complex network enivronment which block by network firewall or NAT devices. This thesis introduces an application for sharing bioinformatics research resources based on the JXTA technology. The system architecture has three major components, namely, web service creation, service advertisement, and service consuming. We created a peer group named ‘Bioinformatics’ and advertised three recognizing cancer-related gene methods to this group as peer services. Peers with the same peer group can find and access these services in the same local area network or cross the Internet. Bioinformatics researchers can build their applications to consume these services or provide more services to this group. Peer-to-peer network provides researchers with the same study area can share resources with each other on the Internet easily.
