摘要

As we know computer science nowadays has been into so many implementations and applications. Computer science as knowledge now has cut down to the wide range disciplinary, including to the art sector. Basically both of the discipline (art and computer science) will bridge over one another to study the development of advanced computational tools that support human creativity. And one of it is the fast growth of internet. The common uses of internet from sending e-mail and file sharing to voice telephony (VoIP), has make people interest more to develop functions to it and use it as a tool to distribute knowledge and spread information. Content Management System (CMS) is a novel way of managing a web site without requires complex programming language. CMS is a computer software tool for organizing and facilitating collaborative creation of web content which hide the detailed coding of the web design and allow the users to develop and maintain the site with a high level graphical user interface. It creates easier way for content author and editor to manage their own idea of information and serve it to their audience. This paper will present how to use CMS to develop the art web site to meet the customer’s needs as Online Art Community where the members can share their arts through functions such as sell and buy artworks on Online Art Auction, exhibit their artworks on Gallery, share their thoughts on Forum and Art Box, ask for opinion from the Art Experts, or just make connection to their favorite Artists. The Art Community itself will have Artists, Art Experts, and common Art Lovers as the members. Here we will see how CMS describes the solution of creating web site of art with complicated functions in an easy and secure way on the publishing process, as we named it: Circleofart.com.
