居家環境安全規劃與評估系統

摘要


隨著資訊科技的發展,人們的生活型態因此而改善。資訊科技發展方向逐漸從企業導向轉移至居家環境中,透過資訊系統解決居家環境所有事件,提高效率與便利性,已是現今之重要議題。現今雖已有資訊系統與相關硬體搭配網路連線,如無線射頻身份辨識(RFID)和環場攝影機(MapCam)等設備,維護人類與環境的安全,但大多數系統是當意外傷害發生後,隨即後續的處理,達到事後的補救。可是「預防勝於治療」,如能在意外傷害尚未發生前立即防範,可避免傷害發生。家是一個安全的避風港、人類活動頻繁的場所,透過資訊系統增進居家環境之安全,達到健康、安全、舒適的優質居家生活環境,為資訊科技應用的主要目的之一。本研究透過本體論(Ontology)建置與多模介面(Multi-modal Interface)之概念,設計一套規劃與評估居家環境安全之模擬系統,探討家庭資訊中心(Home Information Center, HIC)與使用者之互動,提升居家環境之安全性。系統主要目的,為預測且防範居家環境中之危機,避免人們造成意外傷害並達到居家環境安全之提升。在未來研究方面,希望在設計建築物之前,透過本系統之模擬,提供規劃者完善、安全的居家環境建築與規劃的參考,增進居家環境之安全,建置未來之家庭資訊中心。

With the development of information technology, people's lifestyle has been largely improved to reach more efficient and convenient situation. Focus of information technology development gradually transfers from the enterprise to home environment. Information technology systems are broadly connected with relevant hardware and software to provide safe living environment. However, most of the systems are designed for the purpose of dealing with damages after the occurrence of unforeseen accidents. In terms of home safety, damages should be avoided since human stay home as the place of performing their daily activities. It is then the major issue of information technology development to enhance safer, healthier, and more convenient home environment. In this research, a planning and evaluation system of home environment safety is proposed using ontology and multimodal human computer interaction. The aim of developing this system is to discuss the interaction between home information center(HIC)and users of family members. This system provides preventive function to predict possible accidents and damages which occur in home environment. Issue of HIC development is also discussed in this research. Based on the scenarios simulation investigated in this research, the result shows the feasibility of the proposed framework and system development. Users of home environment planners can use this system to evaluate safety factors of a specific home environment. The output of evaluation can be used as a reference of home environment planning and design.
