摘要

嵌入式系統(Embedded System)是具輕薄短小的體積及高度整合能力的軟硬體平台，因而能廣泛的應用在各人隨身設備，如常見的3C產品，包括智慧型手機(Smart Phone)、Apple iPod、智慧型手持裝置(Smart Handheld)、SONY PSP等都是嵌入式系統的應用實例。
嵌入式系統在未來將朝結合網際網路、無線通訊及多媒體的多元化發展。本研究以ARM9(S3C2410)嵌入式系統為開發實驗模組，透過Windows CE開發平台，將Windows CE作業系統及相關的專案(如TCP/IP、FTP Server、Bluetooth、Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet等)，建構於ARM9(S3C2410)實驗模組中，並在Windows CE作業系統上建構Bluetooth使能和Bluetooth裝置連接，達到無線通訊的功能，並藉由此功能來發展居家遠端監控的智慧型環境。

The compact and light body as well as high capability of integrating hardware and software platforms of embedded system enable them to be suitable for pocket-sized equipments, such as the 3C products, including smart phone, Apple iPod, Smart handheld devices, and SONY PSP. These products are all the application examples of the embedded systems.
In the future, the the embedded systems will develop towards the combination of the Internet, wireless communications and multimedia applications. In this study, we use ARM9(S3C2410) developing platform with WinCE to install the related projects such as TCP/IP, FTP server, Bluetooth, point-to-point protocol over the Ethernet. Based on these functions, we develop the codes for Bluetooth devices to fulfill wireless communication and, by this function, we implement a smart home with remote control.
