適性化無所不在防災教育學習導覽環境之建置

摘要


傳統上,學校進行校外教學活動,在參觀博物館時,因為缺乏適當的教學設計與解說,容易造成學生學習成效不佳。另外,有鑑於近年來資訊及無線通訊技術不斷的進步發展,教學應用的層面也跟著提升。因此,本研究以位於台中縣霧峰鄉的921地震教育園區為例,配合園區內已具備的地震災害與地震工程相關知識的展示環境,運用RFID系統結合PDA與無線網路的傳輸,建置無所不在的防災教育學習導覽環境,以期提升學生的學習成效。 本研究結合教育部九年一貫課程相關學習領域,並以國小高年級的地震防災課程為架構,配合戶外教學活動,藉由RFID技術與情境感知特性,透過防災教育學習導覽系統,引導學生在建置好的適性化教學環境中進行學習,使學習者能在任何地點及時間,取得最合適的學習內容。 在實驗設計方面,本研究以南投縣某國小六年級學生為對象,分成實驗組及對照組,分別進行適性化導覽學習以及傳統的戶外教學,並將前、後測的結果及滿意度問卷調查做分析比較,以探討採用適性化無所不在防災教育學習導覽系統與傳統戶外教學參觀方式,在學習成效上的差異。根據實驗後的統計分析結果顯示,適性化無所不在的防災教育學習導覽系統確實對於學生的學習成效有顯著的改善,對學生在參訪博物館的學習態度與興趣上也有顯著的提升。

In traditional outdoor learning education, the lack of proper teaching design and guidance explanation could cause the ineffectiveness of students’ learning performances. Also, with the development of information technology and wireless communication technology in recent years, IT implementations in educational practices are more and more comprehensive. Therefore, in this research, an adaptive ubiquitous learning environment for disaster prevention education, incorporated with the environment of the Earthquake Engineering Hall, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, as well as Personal Digital Assistant and Wi-Fi transmission is established in order to improve the effectiveness of outdoor learning. The research is based on the structure of earthquake prevention lessons at the elementary school level and the related outdoor learning education. Through the RFID technology and context-aware features, the adaptive ubiquitous disaster prevention education learning system could deliver adaptive learning resources to students, and respond to the changes of the learning environment. Accordingly, students can obtain appropriate learning contents at anytime and anywhere and learn in the constructed adaptive learning environment. The participants of this research are the sixth-grade elementary school students in Nantou County. They are divided into experimental and control groups, learning in the adaptive ubiquitous disaster prevention education learning system and traditional outdoor learning education respectively. The results of the pre-test, post-test and questionnaire on satisfaction were analyzed and compared to explore the effectiveness between the two learning systems. The statistic analysis results of this research revealed that the proposed ubiquitous disaster prevention education learning system could not only significantly improve students’ learning performances, but also improve the students’ learning attitude and motivation when visiting museums.
