This is a thesis about the process that the researcher uses narrative inquiry to integrate her fragmented memories into stories, transform the meaning concealed in the stories into knowledge, and use this knowledge to conduct action research to create a new life experience. Through the integration and analysis of her life story, this research explores how the lost and obedient child finds herself again and how she breaks down barriers to reconstruct herself. Thus, the child who was forced to become the life and soul of the family, like the Zongzi Hanging Knot, transforms herself into an independent adult who are free and flexible when facing various situations. Through the process of action research, the researcher narrates how self-differentiation has quite an impact on her life and hopes to shed some light for whom shares similar life experience, wishes to develop differentiation of self and deals with triangulation in relationships.
