Determining the Effect of Electrodeposition on the Longevity of Industrial Productions

指導教授 : Ali Rafinia

摘要

Wear is one of the main problems in various industrial productions. Electrodeposition is a common coating process which is used for different materials such as cast or 3D printed parts, and this method is using for ornaments and corrosion protection. In this research, we analysed design of workpiece for deposition to have a better coating process. Then different sublayers and sample preparation with polishing have been used to determine the quality of deposition. The results showed that electrodeposition increase tool wear about 11% in harder working situation and increased the longevity of produced parts.
