Evidence-based dentistry is an attitude and method how you think, learn, make decision and act on appropriate evidence from the literature research to take into account the unique needs of the patients for ensuring that we provide the optimal care and keep us up-to-date with changing and improving health care innovations that are reported in the literature. According to our personal timing and energy limitation, skill ourselves how to use the tools to perform the evidence health care that provides us the possibilities to achieve the effective and efficient long-life learning goal. This article briefly introduce the concept of evidence-based dentistry (EBD), why we need to learn EBD, steps of EBD, and know your roles in EBD. From the recommended reference articles, websites and data bases that listed at the final part, you will have whole picture how to get start and enjoy the EBD.
