吸入式鎮靜或麻醉在兒童牙科的應用
Application of Inhalation Sedation/Anesthesia in Pediatric Dentistry

Using halothane as an anesthetic agent for children under short-term dental treatment, the halothane will put the patient into sleep in smooth and fast induction state. It is ideal to use during dental treatment such as primary tooth extraction, frenum procedure, and even simple operative procedure on those young age children who cannot cooperate. The patient under this kind of procedure will have very quick recovery and may discharge immediately when fully awake. It also can be applied as the induction agent when using together with other sedative/anesthetic agent for longer dental procedures.
