The Effect of Hydroxylapatite upon Stimulating New Bone Formation in Host Tissue

種植顆粒氫氧磷灰石後對於刺激宿主新生骨形成之影響

摘要


利用14雙台灣獼猴進行下顎骨膜下種植顆粒氫氧磷灰石之組織學研究。在種植區之標本組織觀察所見,在前6個月所有種植顆粒間全爲膠原纖維,直至9個月時始見新生骨沈積於顆粒氫氧磷灰石表面,1年時種植區下方之顆粒全爲新生骨所包圍,然而上層之顆粒仍全爲膠原組織所包圍,因此若用在臨床上則必須在術後經過較長之時間,始可令其牙床承受咬合力。由本實驗假設體內血清中之鹼性磷酸酵素相對含量可能與種植氫氧磷灰石後之骨生成有關,然而實驗之結果中並未獲得定論,進一步之證據有待未來之研究繼續探討。

14 Macaca cyclopis monkeys were used in the histologic study of ridge augmentation with hydroxylapatite. New bone formation was not noticed until after nine months. The interparticular spaces of the implant were occupied by collagen fiber for more than six months. The new bone formed in the interparticular spaces at the first year proved the phenomenon of delayed bony repairment in this study. Although it was considered that the serum alkaline phosphatase level might have some correlations with the new bone formation in the ridge which was augmented by the use of hydroxylapatite, however, there was no definite result in this study about the information of alkaline phosphatase.
