摘要

糖尿病的發生與遺傳體質有關，而肥胖、情緒壓力、懷孕、藥物、營養失調，也都會促使糖尿病的發生。
糖尿病即為中醫“消渴症”。飲食肥甘辛辣所傷，情志所傷、勞逸所傷三種為主要病因。先天稟賦不足、元陰虧虛之人，是潛伏發病的糖尿病易感人群，在男子五八、女子五七腎精虧虛階段，即可隱匿發病，多無典型「三消」症狀，而病情已發展至中晚期階段。在有糖尿病家族史的人，尤其是中老年人常僅出現陰虛徵象。
糖尿病常以陰虛燥熱開始，病程日久，可導致氣陰兩虛、陰陽兩虛、五臟受累，而合併嚴重的併發症，導致死亡。糖尿病以腎脾陰虛為真本，燥熱瘀爲其標。本文從燥熱傷陰、肝腎陰虛、脾胃虛弱、瘀血阻絡方面來辨證論治。

The emergence of diabetes relates to the hereditary physique. The obesity, mood stress, pregnancy, medicine, and nutrition disorder will impel the emergence of diabetes.
The diabetes is called ”disease symptomatized by thirst” in Chinese Medicine. The major causes of this disease are the injury of obese, sweet, hot and spicy diet, the injury of feeling and mood, and the injury of work and rest. People with insufficient congenital endowment and Yin might get the diabetes more easily. About 58 year old men and 57 year old women might have the hidden diabetes. There is no typical ”three elimination” symptom. The illness has already been developed to middle and later period. The people with the diabetes family history, especially the elder people often have the symptom of Yin deficiency.
The diabetes often begins with the Yin deficiency and dry heat. If it is lasted for a long time, it might cause the death due to Qi/Yin deficiency, Yin/Yang deficiency, deterioration of five internal organs, and serious complication. The diabetes is caused by Yin deficiency of kidney and spleen, and hot and dry silt and stagnancy. This paper takes the syndrome cure from hot and dry Yin injury, Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, weakness of spleen and stomach, and stasis of blood.
