艾草萃取物的抗氧化活性研究

Studies on the Antioxidative Activity of Artemisia Vulgaris Extracts

摘要


此實驗主要以艾草葉部的酒精與丙酮萃取物,分別進行抗氧化活性評估,評估方式包括清除α, α-diphenyl-β-Picrylhydrzyl(DPPH)自由基活性與螯合亞鐵能力測定(Chelating activity on ferrous ion)。經實驗結果顯示艾草葉部之酒精萃取物具有明顯的清除DPPH自由基與螯合亞鐵的能力,其IC50值分別為0.05±0.01 mg/ml與0.07士0.0l mg/ml。因此,由實驗得知艾草葉部之酒精萃取物的抗氧化活性,具有在食品和化妝品工業上應用與開發之潛力。

This study was aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activities of ethanol and acetone extracts from leaves of Artemisia vulgaris. The antioxidant activities including the DPPH radical scavenging effect and Chelating activity on ferrous ion, we found that the antioxidant activities of ethanol extract from Artemisia vulgaris leaves had significantly the DPPH radical scavenging effect and Chelating activity on ferrous ion. The IC50 number were 0.05 ± 0.01 mg/ml and 0.07± 0.01 mg/ml, respectively. The results presented that ethanol extract from Artemisia vulgaris leaves had antioxidant activity. Thus, ethanol extract from Artemisia vulgaris leaves possess a broad application and exploitation for food and cosmetic industry.
