In recent years, the pattern of medical treatment has been changed from supplier-oriented to patient-oriented, and medical information can be obtained by multiple channels, so that the relationship between medical treatment and disease becomes more and more tense. Shared Decision Making (SDM) is a concept of patient engagement, which has been practiced for a long time in foreign countries and is widely used in the care process and medical treatment. It is also considered as an ideal model for clinical decision making. This article discusses the ways and challenges of implementing SDM.
