科學玩具遊戲教學對國小三年級學童「空氣」單元學習的影響

A Study of the Effects of Science Play Instruction with Assisted Scientific Toys on the "Air" Unit Learning for Third-Grade Students

摘要


本研究旨在探討:(一)科學玩具遊戲教學對國小三年級學生空氣單元學習成就的影響。(二)科學玩具遊戲教學對國小三年級學生科學態度表現的影響。本研究的研究對象爲兩個國小三年級班級共70位學生,分成實驗組一班35位學生及對照組一班35位學生,兩組均以康軒版三上第三單元「空氣和風」爲教材內容,實驗組學生實施科學玩具遊戲教學,而對照組學生則進行一般教學作爲比較。本研究的研究工具包括「空氣科學學習成就測驗」(有27題,Cronbach s α=.74)、「科學態度量表」(有40題,Cronbach s α=.91)。研究過程在科學玩具遊戲教學活動的前後實施前、後測,施測結果資料分別進行單因數共變數分析、t檢定來探討改變情形。研究的主要發現,包括如下:(一)實驗組學生在「空氣」單元的學習成就顯著優於對照組學生;(二)實驗組學生在科學態度的表現顯著優於對照組學生。

The main purposes of this study are: (1) to investigate the effects of science play instruction with assisted scientific toys on learning achievement on the natural science of elementary school students, (2) to investigate the effects of science play instruction with assisted scientific toys on scientific attitudes of elementary school students. The subject was 70 third-grade students from two classes at one school in Taipei county. They were divided into two groups, the experimental group and control group. The experimental group with 35 students used the designed scientific toys with instruction when learning the course while the control group with 35 students used the traditional teaching method. Two assessments were used in this study, including the Unit ”Air” learning achievements test and scientific attitudes questionnaire. The data was analyzed with one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and t test. The major finding in this study was summarized as follows: 1. The results of achievement test on the natural science were that the students of experimental group got higher scores than control group students did. 2. The results of scientific attitudes questionnaire were that the students of experimental group got higher scores on whole scale and four subscales than control group students did.
