In the early phase after renal transplantation, surgical complications account for a major cause of graft loss. Early diagnosis of surgical complications could improve survival rate of graft kidney. The clinical presentation of surgical complications is similar to non-surgical complications in early phase. Awareness of surgical complications and early differentiation from non surgical complication is importance for tranplantation teams. Surgical complications are reviewed in this article.
