Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is defined as abnormalities of kidney structure or function for more than three months with an impact on health. Complications of CKD include cardiovascular disease, anemia, etc. And people with CKD has higher all-cause mortality. It is important to achieve early diagnosis and management of CKD in order to prevent progression to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Management strategies should focus on the medical treatments and nutrition supports in the diagnosed CKD individuals. By multiple approaches and regular follow-up, we aim to delay deterioration to ESRD, and to enhance the effectiveness of CKD prevention.
