C-Reactive Protein as an Outcome Predictor in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

Over the past decades, despite advanced progress in peritoneal dialysis (PD) facility and optimization of dialysis programs, complications such as inflammation, cardiovascular events, and malnutrition have been found in a substantial proportion of PD patients. The aim of this article was to review the association between C-reactive protein levels and all-cause mortality and cardiovascular disease mortality in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
