The late complications of vascular access include aneurysm, infection, stenosis, thrombosis, limb ischemia, neuropathy, etc. Any of these complications can cause vascular access dysfunction or failure and further compromised the quality of life of dialysis patients. Different types of vascular access intervention were applied for a variety of lesions, such as percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, stent graft, or open surgery. For complicated or refractory case, reconstruction of vascular access is also a treatment of choice.
