Acute Kidney Injury: Epidemiology, Clinical Manifestation, Diagnosis, Etiology, Treatment, and Prognosis

Since the uniform definition of acute kidney injury launched in 2012, there have been enormous amounts of research articles published regarding to the epidemiology, diagnosis tool, prediction, and treatment timing of acute kidney injury. This article is going to briefly review the background knowledge of acute kidney injury and introduce several pioneering researches published recently in order to provide a comprehensive review.
