Improving the efficiency of urinary toxin removal and reducing intra-dialytic hypotension are very important during the process of hemodialysis. The introduction and application of online monitoring of patients' physiological parameters and feedback control can improve the safety and efficiency of hemodialysis treatment, reduce discomfort during dialysis, and restore physiological conditions. In the future, innovative devices, such as the measurement of blood pressure, blood temperature, optical parameters, human electrical characteristics, and other sensors, would not only acquire (and process) a large amount of data but also build real-time predictive models. This article introduces both the treatment (and technical) principles of currently available equipment and the concept of artificial intelligence in dialysis applications.
