使用清熱解毒法治療甲狀腺功能亢進的女性病例報告

摘要

「甲狀腺功能亢進症（簡稱為甲亢）屬於內分泌系統的疾病，是由多種原因引起的甲狀腺合成或者釋放過多的甲狀腺激素，從而導致的以高代謝為主要表現的綜合症，在中醫臨床上亦常見，且女性多發於男性。本病例是一位44歲女性，自40歲起被診斷出甲狀腺功能亢進（Hyperthyroidism），陸續服用西藥，惟考慮副作用與停藥後易復發等因素，於102年6月中旬至本院就診，於服藥3個月後，甲狀腺素恢復正常值，再服藥三個月後亦維持穩定，且甲亢相關症狀改善。

Hyperthyroidism, a kind of disease of the endocrine system, is caused by various reasons, leading to secreting excessive amounts of thyroid hormone and having the syndrome of a high metabolism. It is common in Clinical Chinese Medicine and occurs more often in female than male. This case was about a 44-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism at the age of 40 and had been taking western medicine. Considering the side effects caused by western medicine and the possibility of recurrence after discontinuing taking the medicine, she came to our hospital looking for help and treatment in mid-June, 2013. After she took Chinse medicine for 3 months, her thyroxine restored to normal. Her thyroxine remained stable after re-taking Chinese medicine for 3 months and other related symptoms of hyperthyroidism also improved.
