Aromatics Formation in the Oxidations of Trichloroethylene with Methane

並列摘要

Experiments on oxidation of multi-chlorinated hydrocarbons, C2HC13, with hydrocarbon fuels, CH4, were performed in a laboratory scale flow reactor under fuel-rich and fuel-lean conditions. The major reaction products, C2C12, C2H4, CO, CO2 and HCI, can be found in a lower temperature region under a higher oxygen containing environment. The aromatic compounds, including C6H6, C6H5CH3, C6H5Cl, CH3C6H4Cl and C6H5Cl2 were detected. Trace intennediates including C2H2, C3H6, C3H4, C4H8, C4H6, C4H4, CH3Cl, C2H3Cl, C2HCl, trans-CHCICHCI, cis-CHCICHCI, COC12, C2Cl4, and C2Cl6 were also found. The formation pathways for the detected aromatic species are discussed.
