This paper is aimed to introduce the common required courses of the three US military academies and the Taiwan military academies. To compare the features of and the differences between these two countries, the study is made through the aspects of course arrangement and general education. It is found that these two countries are quite similar in the respect of the percentage of common required courses (in humanities and social sciences). Yet, with the regard to general education, the US is relatively superior in its design and flexibility for the core curriculum.
