It has always been a weak point for the setters on the domestic volleyball teams to be frequently forced to set up an adjusting ball for his teammates to spike, which often compromises the offensive attempts. Based on the ”Interval Concept” the study aims to propose a principle to guide the No.4 position spiking technique and offered some solid recommendations. It is hoped that our volleyball coaches would find this study a ready reference when incorporating these guidelines into the daily training schedule to enhance their spiking strategy.
