摘要
一位40歲中國女性,因刷牙時牙齦流血而至高雄醫學院牙科門診部求診。臨床之檢查,我們發現在患者右上顎大臼齒處有局部成年性牙周炎,併有牙麒萎縮。同時,在同一部位第三大臼齒的時側有一贅生牙,這兩顆牙成頰時方向之排列,且從牙冠以下相互融合。在澈底清除牙垢及牙菌斑後,我們將這雙連牙拔除 ,從該方之縱切磨片及X光片中,可清楚看到該牙自牙冠以下到牙根以牙本質融合,兩個牙髓腔也明顯的被觀察到,為一很典型的雙連牙。上顎雙連牙的病例甚少,所以提出此一上顎第三、四大臼齒雙連牙的病例報告。

A 40-year-old Chinese female came to the Periodontal Department, Dental Clinic of Kaohsiung Medical Collage, with a chief com-plaint of gingival bleeding when brushing. At the time of dental examination, we found the p't was suffered from localized adult perio- dontitis, combined with gingival recession over the palatal site of right maxillary molar area. A supernumerary 4th molar was noted on the palatal site of fight maxillary 3rd molar, and the two teeth were jointed together below the crown portion. After plaque been removed thoroughly, the jointed teeth were extracted under local anethesia. The ground section and x-ray film of the extracted teeth revealed that the dentin is fused from the crown potion to the root with two pulp chambers. We reported a case of typical fused molar teeth.
