泛用型影像壓縮演算法之研究

摘要


本文提出的泛用型影像壓縮演算法,乃是利用碎形壓縮演算法的概念,以改良JPEG演算法;且避免碎形演算法的大量運算。改良後的演算法其有以下優點:克服JPEG之區塊效應、較佳的MSE與畫質、計算複雜度較碎形演算法為佳。

A general-purpose image compression algorithm was proposed. It modified the JPEG algorithm by using the concept of the fractal image compression algorithm. And it had the simpler complexity when compared with the fractal image compression algorithm. The merits of the modified algorithm are as follows: (1) It solved the block effect of JPEG. (2) It had better MSE and image quality than JPEG. (3) Its complexity is simpler than the fractal image compression algorithm.
