工作滿足是企業效能的總評分,亦是活化企業結構、促成組織轉型的重要因素。員工的工作滿足程度不僅可被用來衡量其工作生活素質的高低,更可當作組織中病態現象的早期警訊。當員工的工作滿足程度越高時,員工越會出現諸如自動自發的努力工作、表現良好的紀律、對組織及領導者效忠、或者自願合作以達成組織目標等效應。因此,如何提升員工的工作滿足,以增進員工之效能,並進而增進企業之經營效能,實是身為主管者不可輕忽的重要事項。
Job satisfaction is both a criteria for an overall evaluation of the performance of enterprises and an important factor to promote the change of the structure of enterprises. Not only can the degree of subordinates' job satisfaction indicate the quality of the life at work, but it is also considered an early warning to any abnormal phenomenon in the organization. The higher the degree of job satisfaction of the subordinates, the more likely the subordinates work hard in a self-activated manner, with good discipline, be loyal to the organization and the leaders, or volunteer cooperation to attain a goal of the organization, etc. Therefore, it is an important part of the job of an administrator to enhance his/her subordinates' job satisfaction, so as to promote the performance of the operation of the enterprise.
