摘要


鋸齒型切屑之發生是受到切削速率之影響,在發生鋸齒型切屑之切削速率範圍內,較低速率和較高速率切削所產生之鋸齒型切屑的機構及其顯微組織結構均不相同,前者之機制應為破裂裂縫之生成與壓應力壓制裂縫兩機構之交互作用的消長所達成,且其顯徵組織係於鋸齒型切屑體齒根部或齒體部為具有層狀之剪切滑移線所造成,然並無絕熱剪切帶在齒體間發現;而後者之機制則為絕熱剪切和撕裂再重焊之機制所組成,其顯微組織則應為具有明顯之絕熱剪切帶在切屑齒體間產生者。

The formation mechanism of serrated chip was related to cutting speed. In the range of cutting speed that caused serrate chip, the formation mechanism and optical photomicrographs were different when they obtained at higher or lower cutting speed. The former case, its formation mechanism was the interaction of shear fracture and compression stress on shear zone, and its chip of optical photomicrographs had multi-layer shear sliding line at tooth body or its root part, but there was no shear bend between tooth body. The later case, there were clear shear bend between any two neighbored chip tooth results from adiabatic cutting and chip tearing and re-welding.
