加強技專校院學生的人文素養

摘要


技專校院是以培養中高級專業技術人力爲宗旨,除兼重量理論與實務之外,並應注重人格修養、文化陶冶及培養學生正確的職業道德。檢視目前的技專校院課程,較偏重專業技能的教學,忽略人文方面的陶冶,造成現在的學生,不懂得生活禮儀、缺乏責任感、道德偏差等問題行爲。 本文旨在透過文獻探討人文素養的內涵,比較人文教育與通識教育之異同,並以中華技術學院爲例,分析其實施的現況。該校除了已設置通識教育中心專責規劃課程外,並積極配合學生社團活動、各學科教學及相關措施等將人文教育加強實施,以發揮教學效果。今後應如何加強將人文精神融入專業知識,透過有系統的通識課程及相關教學活動實施,有效培養學生的人文素養,以促進沈重對人與社會的關懷,是技專校院重要的課題。

To cultivate higher technological professionals is the goal of Technology College and University. In addition to the learning of technology theory and practice, the development of personality, the introduction of cultural discipline and the formation of technological ethics are all also equally important. The current curriculum of Technology College and University has put many emphases on skill learning and teaching. The humanity curriculum is generally overlooked. As a consequence, some students of Technology College and University have the problems of misbehavior, irresponsibility and moral aberration. This study explores the contents of humanity curriculum and compares the differences between humanity curriculum and general education. Furthermore, The China Institute of Technology is chosen as a studying case to analyze the humanity education practices. The China Institute of Technology has not only set a General Education Center to conduct the curricula, but also push the humanity curriculum by measures such as the collaboration of teaching and extracurricular activities to strengthen the effect. The inspiration of humanity integrity and encouragement of human and social cares have come to be important objectives of technological education. By implantation of humanity spirit into technological professional courses and introduction of well-organized general education curricula, the objective can be progressively fulfilled.
