摘要

此文敘宮中鼠患甚劇民間佳貓咸非敵手。適有異國所貢獅貓，即抱投鼠室以覘之。貓初禺鼠，輕巧避之若怯。俟鼠跳擲漸遲，突欺身而下，爪鞠頂毛，口齕首領而斃之。如知貓之避，非怯也，待其惰也。此篇論文：先從文章結構加以評述：貓、鼠相鬥，各施其巧，乃「對照筆法」。並探討作者寓意所在。次就多重詮釋（或多層次思考）從各角度加以詮釋之。蓋不囿於作者原意而有更多之揮灑空間也：如從老子、兵法、心理學、太極拳理等及比較詮釋法予以評論之。此文學作品之另類嘗試也。

This article tries to dig out the connection of the struggle between a cat and a mouse. The approach which is adopted is a kind of poly-level way such as strategy, psychology and philosophy of Tai-chi boxing (shadow-boxing) etc. I do not limit my interpretation to the original meaning by the author, but prefer to discuss it from plural points of view. Because I believe that it could be valuable.
